Exercises

Delta Risk's partners and consultants have extensive expertise in all aspects of exercise design and execution for cyber defense and infrastructure protection.  Our goal is to build each client's capacity by starting with smaller tabletops and working to more complicated live fire exercises.  Our world-class expertise in live fire exercises means we will help our clients create tightly controlled games on live networks.  Not only is this less expensive than purpose-built or virtual ranges, but more realistic for the defenders.

We eschew hackfests in favor of a methodolgy of an "opposing force" that will think and act like the advanced, persistent threat.  Our CEH- and CISSP-certified team will give your defenders realistic opportunities to detect these attacks, using your own tools and from your own operations centers.  Some of our attacks may be detected ... others not.  Your forensic analysts can have machines and sophisticated artifacts to examine.   Your incident responders will have novel situations to unravel.  Even your security guards and administrative assistants will need to be alert to social engineering and ruses.

Delta Risk also has unparalleled capabilities to craft exercises which emphasize national security issues, rather than technical details.  Our staff includes two former members of the White House security council staff (including a full member of the Council on Foreign Relations) to forge scenarios raising the most serious questions of cyber security and cyber warfare, from deterrence to state responsibility and thresholds for responding with cyber or physical force.

Delta Risk's team also has world leaders in infrastructure protection, especially public-private sector partnerships and the finance sector.  We can coordinate exercises or help clients develop goals and scenarios for their own games.
